Our school began the preparatory work for institutional research in mid-March of the 105th year of the Republic of China (2016) and officially established the Institutional Research Center (IR) on August 1 of the same year.

The center comprises one director and three members, with the goal of achieving the school's planning, management decisions, facilitating internal horizontal communication, cross-functional integration, and creating the self-brand value of Chung Yuan Christian University of Arts and Technology as its main tasks.

This center organizes and utilizes institutional data, including administrative operations, environmental facilities, teaching methods and academic research of teachers, student learning experiences and performance, and qualitative and quantitative evaluation data on faculty and students, for consolidation,

analysis, and interpretation, transforming it into useful information.

In its initial operations, the center focuses on five major aspects: the relationship between student enrollment, withdrawal, and employment, as well as teacher teaching and performance. These will serve as the foundation for research and learning, ultimately aiming for the comprehensive application of sustainable development, institutional issues, and data analysis for the school’s advancement.
